The top stone is an incredible black lattice sunstone with the flashiest of streaks, like a night sky streaked with a rain of meteors. Below the sunstone rests a piece of Gibeon meteorite, a visitor to earth that arrived in prehistoric times, with a gorgeous showing of the intricate Widmanstätten pattern. 14kt gold ball accents surround the stones for an added bit of sparkle. The backside has been partially cut out to reveal the sparkly polished back of the stone and the rest is adorned with stamped stars and has been stamped with my maker's mark (BLJ). This design measures approximately 1.5" tall and 0.6" wide at the widest point. The raised points have been polished to shine, while the low points retain the oxidized color to show off the depth and details. All metal used in this piece is sterling silver, with the exception of the 10kt gold balls.
This design can be made in your choice of a pendant (see photos) or a ring in your size! Please let me know in the notes which option you would like.
The stones are shown unset as the design will be finished in your choice of a pendant or a ring; after setting, the stones and their bezels will look finished versus the current appearance.

A few notes on caring for oxidized sterling silver: oxidized patina on sterling silver isn't particularly durable to long-term exposure to water (like bathing or swimming) or a lot of scrubbing, as friction is the way to polish silver to shine. Constant exposure to tasks such as hand washing, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, etc., will slowly wear away the oxidized patina leaving a shiny silver finish.
