A pomegranate of golden jeweler's brass is set with three tiny faceted garnets, surrounded by miniscule silver granules, and set onto a sterling silver backplate. Once completed, the jeweled fruit will rest on a band of 12g sterling silver (photos show an example of what it will look like finished.) The silver inside the brass pomegranate has been oxidized, a process which creates the blackened or antiqued appearance on silver. All metal in this ring is sterling silver, with the exception of the brass face of the pomegranate. The pomegranate measures 0.6" tall and 0.5 wide at the widest point.
Please let me know your desired ring size in the notes at check-out (US sizes 3- 13.5). This ring will be finished in the size specified at checkout. The photos show the stones unset - the bezels will be set and polished after the ring is finished.
This item is finished to order. The estimated time needed to complete this piece is one week from the order date.
A few notes on caring for oxidized sterling silver: oxidized patina on sterling silver isn't particularly durable to long-term exposure to water (like bathing or swimming) or a lot of scrubbing, as friction is the way to polish silver to shine. Constant exposure to tasks such as hand washing, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, etc., will slowly wear away the oxidized patina leaving a shiny silver finish.
