The septa lines in the suture ammonite create leafy silhouettes that have been filled in through millennia with minerals like calcite and pyrite; these oak leaves will never wilt or fade, preserved forever just like the silver twigs.
The focal point of this pendant are the suture ammonite. The pendant features a twig cast in Italian bronze paired with brass for the setting and backplate. The backside is stamped with a fall mix of oak leaves and acorns, as well as my maker's mark (BLJ).
The pendant measures approximately 1.25" tall and 1" wide at the widest point. The raised points have been polished to shine, while the low points retain the oxidized color to show off the depth and details.
