This stunning labradorite shows off its blue flashes in a multitude of ethereal stripes! the stone's labradorescence (or schiller) shows up at multiple angles and produces vibrant blue or teal stripes, depending on the angle at which the light hits it. It has been set into sterling silver and affixed to two rings bands, which have been hammered to create the texture. My marker's mark (BLJ) has been added to the backside of the ring, next to the bands. All of the silver has been oxidized, a process which creates the blackened or antiqued appearance on silver. All metal used in this ring is sterling silver.
With its double bands, this ring comfortably fits a US size 6. It is not adjustable.

A few notes on caring for oxidized sterling silver: oxidized patina on sterling silver isn't particularly durable to long-term exposure to water (like bathing or swimming) or a lot of scrubbing, as friction is the way to polish silver to shine. Constant exposure to tasks such as hand washing, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, etc., will slowly wear away the oxidized patina leaving a shiny silver finish.
