I created this design because I personally wanted a pin to show my support of the Black Lives Matter movement and Black equality. After a few requests, I decided to make them available in order to help raise funds to support change. For each pin sold, I will be donating $5 to the NAACP.

The front of this silver pin is shaped like a heart, with the letters "BLM" stamped by hand in the center. The text is oxidized, a process which creates the blackened or antiqued appearance on silver. The raised points have been polished to shine, while the low points retain the oxidized color to show off the depth and details. On the backside is a tapered and pointed pin post, and it comes with a black rubber backing for a good fit on the post and for comfort when worn on clothing. The pin measures 0.75" tall and 0.75" wide at the widest point. All metal used in this design is sterling silver.

There are 3 different fonts and 2 different finishes available to chose from. The available fonts are Newsprint, Austin, and Lollipop- check out the pictures for a view of the font options. The available finishes are polished or satin finish.

You will not be receiving the exact pin that is pictured. Your pin will be the same design, but every handmade item varies a bit by nature- making each one original and unique!

This item is made-to-order. It will be shipped upon completion of the piece. Please check my shop announcements and time frames listed under shipping options for estimated arrival times. Shipping options will be available to choose upon check-out.

A few notes on caring for sterling silver jewelry: like fine silver, sterling silver does tarnish over time. Exposure to chemicals can affect the appearance on silver (like hair dye, pool chlorine, some soaps, etc.). It is not recommended to wear sterling silver jewelry while bathing or swimming for this reason. If it tarnishes, sterling silver jewelry can be cleaned with cleaning cloths or solutions that are labeled as being safe for silver. Cleaning sterling silver can also remove oxidized patina applied to the piece, so use caution when cleaning if there is desired oxidized patina.
